Apex Action Firearms

Certification

Apex Action Certified — credentials built for the screen industry.

Productions don't need someone who's “been on a course”. They need someone who can demonstrate, on a call sheet day, that they can handle the firearm in their hand without an armourer hovering over every shot.

Apex Action Certified is built for that scrutiny. Every course is awarded by drill standard, not by attendance. The courses map to clearly-defined skill sets — handling foundations, tactical operations, period weapons — so the line on a performer's CV reflects what they were tested on, not just what they turned up for.

Each course complements the next. A performer with Foundation, SWAT, and Period Weapons on their CV can show range across the briefs they'll actually be cast against — modern, tactical, historical. Train across more courses to build your portfolio.

What this is, and what it isn't

Apex Action Certified is a private training certificate. It is not a UK firearms licence and confers no legal authority to possess, store, or transport firearms outside the supervised range environment.

What it documents is the work you put in on the day — the drills you completed, the standards you met, the hands-on hours you logged under qualified supervision. That's the claim it makes, and the only claim worth making to a screen industry that already knows the difference.
